Not again

Why do men (ok, some men) pull this disappearing act of theirs?

I'm talking about when they just disappear altogether, without a note saying "I don't feel like anything so I'll be off the radar until I change my mind, have fun".

This drives me crazy every time. I hate it when people disappear without telling me the reason, and me being me usually means I worry too much about them and always suspect the worst.

And him driving a bike and all makes it more plausible. I mean what if now it's not just a broken arm? But then again I'm too meek to text message people until they've been gone for ages, mostly because I don't want to be called a worrier or a stalker, so...
