Going to hell

Yeah, I gave in and watched the 3rd season of Heroes out of utter boredom. Can't say it was more... anything than I expected. It made my life a bit more interesting for 3 days, but that's about it.

Still, a few observations, as usual.

  • It was so predictable, I kept guessing what would happen next. I mean when Peter hailed a cab I said: oh no, seriously, will that be Mohinder? And it was. From then on I kept guessing right and right again.

  • Peter: I actually liked him. He was less emo and more rugged and he wasn't flashing us every chance he got with his muscular body. Yay. At least I didn't go blind. Oh and the stubble? Loved it.

  • Hiro jealous? Seems like yet another step back. He wasn't jealous of Kensei (well, technically he wanted Yaeko, but still), but he is constantly jealous of Ando. Someone rewrote Hiro's character again while we weren't looking.

  • Bald hunter guy? Ehhh, so cliché. Also, he looked like a poor, starving patient who just escaped from chemo.

  • Nathan: I was sure he was gonna fuck it up. And be a hypocrite as always.

  • Sylar survived it. Again. And he has an unhealthy and disturbing romantic interest in Claire. As Claire's mother said, she's just 17. How old is Sylar again? ... pedo bear with a serious case of eyebrows.

  • Rebel: I actually predicted it that he was a teenage guy who read comic books. I had three hunches, actually: 1, he is actually a bad guy trying to lure the fugitives into some elaborate plot; 2, he is a good guy, too idealistic for words; 3, he is a teenager who reads too many comic books.

  • Daphne and Nathan die. While Claire looks on, sobbing. But ever since Season 2 it's common knowledge that Claire's blood can resurrect people. So... what's with this stupidity of the creators ignoring the facts? I mean if they don't want to resurrect Nathan and Daphne in the series, why not just burn them in an accident or something and not leave a body behind? Because this way there are plot holes the size of a continent. You pick which one.
Anyway, more to follow. But I'm about to faint from tiredness.
